The British Jade Cody is the winner of the last EPT Deauville edition, which broke a new record of participation. Jade, from Rochade, is only 21 years old and this victory means that he has not only won the fantastic cash prize of €847.000, but also a sit at the European Poker Tour final. As a former psychology student at University, he used all his poker and psychology knowledge to defeat Teodor Caraba in the final heads up. Caraba, who started this final tournament step with the double number of chips than his opponent, had to be content with the second position, and the €516.000 cash prize. Regarding the other participants in this final table, Peter Eastgate was the one who had created more expectation during the whole tournament; however he was also the first player being eliminated.
